I recently stayed at the Black Swan Motor Inn in Lakes Entrance and my experience was a mixed bag. The accommodation was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette that came in handy for preparing meals. The outdoor pool, although in need of maintenance, provided a refreshing break from the summer heat. The proximity to the beach and amenities like the playground and barbecue grills added to the overall appeal of the property.Despite the shortcomings, such as the outdated decor and lack of housekeeping, the friendly staff and convenient location made up for it. The cozy living room and separate bedrooms in the apartment offered a comfortable space for relaxation after a day of exploring Lakes Entrance. The terrace with sea views was a delightful spot to unwind with a glass of wine in the evenings.While the stay wasn't flawless, the Black Swan Motor Inn catered to our basic needs and provided a decent base for our adventures in the Victoria region. The easy access to the main beach and proximity to local attractions like Bairnsdale Train Station and Metung Yacht Club Marina made it a convenient choice for our city break. Considering the value for money, it's a suitable option for those looking for a budget-friendly stay with essential amenities.
